In summer of 2024, I was brought in to help rebrand Zevia. After a metric ton of social listening, insight gathering, and competitive research, we minted a challenger brand that sought to Fight The Fake.
I don't know about you, but we refused to live in a world infused with lip filler or a feed infiltrated by AI influencers. So Zevia became a satirical reprieve from the fake and the antidote to the artificial. A true better for you brand, this time for the common man.
This came to life via two TV campaigns. The first “Break from Artificial” trolled Coke with in an AI-gone-wild holiday ad, and the second “Get The Fake Outta Here” starring Jelly Roll in a nostalgic nod to Cindy Crawford’s old Pepsi ad.
